Responsive Redesign and CMS Migration

North Central University

North Central University launched a responsive design in 2016. They were short on staff during the last phases of the project and needed leadership to help meet a tight deadline. I partnered with web strategist Erik Gruber to lead North Central through to a successful launch.

  • Led testing efforts across browsers and devices

Agency

Hanley Wood Marketing

I hopped in to serve as a interactive producer at a local agency to help web projects move along and launch successfully.

  • Partnered with client services, project managers, and web developers to plan, build, and launch digital products for a variety of clients
  • Managed content loading and regular maintenance for a number of sites
  • Planned and carried out testing and QA processes
  • Consulted on web best practices and digital strategies
  • Worked with web developers to produce timing and budget estimates for development
  • Created documentation and training guides
Kelsey came in to Hanley Wood to help with my maternity leave. She was so valuable to our team that we tried to keep her. She stepped into my shoes and many projects with little guidance and earned the trust and respect of all of the personalities and roles she worked with. She is very detail-orientated and quick on her feet. I would hire her again in a minute if she would just take the job.

Our project felt very overwhelming when we first started. I was afraid we’d get to the end and realize we missed something huge. Now, I don’t have that fear. When Kelsey came into the picture, it started to feel manageable. She was so organized and clear in her communication. It was great!
